How do I uninstall Airlock?
Uninstalling Airlock from the Preference Pane
Airlock can be uninstalled in the "Advanced" tab of the preference pane. If you've already deleted the preference pane, please re-download and install Airlock, select the "Advanced" tab in the preference pane, and click the "Uninstall" button.
Uninstalling Airlock from the Terminal (version 1.5 and above)
Alternatively, starting with Airlock 1.5, there's a separate uninstall utility that can be invoked from the Terminal. The command to run the uninstaller is as follows:
sudo /usr/local/airlock/bin/Airlock\ Uninstaller
After entering this command, type your administrator password when prompted and press enter. The utility will output several lines, and the last should say "Airlock was successfully uninstalled."
Manually Uninstalling Airlock (version 1.5 and above)
As a last resort, Airlock can be uninstalled manually by running the following Terminal commands. Please copy and paste these commands into a Terminal window; do not attempt to type these commands manually.
sudo launchctl unload -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.themha.airlock.daemon.plist > /dev/null 2>&1
sudo kextunload /usr/local/airlock/bin/Airlock\ Security\ Guard.kext > /dev/null 2>&1
sudo rm -Rf /usr/local/airlock /Library/LaunchDaemons/com.themha.airlock.daemon.plist /Library/PreferencePanes/Airlock.prefPane /Users/*/Library/PreferencePanes/Airlock.prefPane > /dev/null 2>&1
sudo security authorizationdb remove "com.themha.airlock.changepreferences" > /dev/null 2>&1
