iMac does not detect iPhone 4 at all
Hi there, it was all OK before, just around 2 weeks ago, started to see problem in syncing the iPhone4 with Itunes 10 in my iMac 3.06 GHz core 2 duo.....normally when I plug the phone into the USB port at the back of the iMac, both iTunes and iPhoto will be launched automatically and then iTunes will start to sync the phone, but started from 2 weeks ago, sometimes the system won't recognize the phone at all, and even it does and the sync starts, it will stop suddenly and the iPhone disappear from the device list, then no matter you unplug it and reconnect or close the ITune and restart, it won't recognize any more.
Ane now, things are worse....the iMac does not recognize the iPhone at all....you plug the phone in and NO response at all. I tried reboot the phone, reboot the imac, re-install iTunes, use new cable, use alternate USB ports on iMac....tried all already....no luck.
I have a iPod touch, it works just perfect fine on the iMac, so I can rule out that it is iMac hardware problem, so the problem should be on the iPhone4.
One tricky is that the iPhone 4 can still be charged on wall outlet...just no response at all when you plug it on imac.
Any one can help?? Your generous help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you soooo much !

Hi all,
Anthony: the issue you raised is quite perplexing, as Airlock shouldn't affect a wired iPhone connection at all. Other than getting in contact with Apple, I'm afraid there's not much else I can suggest.
Jan & Alex: are you also experiencing problems with a wired connection to your iPhone after installing Airlock?

Hi Dave,
I am experiencing the exact same issue... I have a beautifull G5 quad core intel Xeon (8GB Ram) running 10.6 and an updated iPhone4. No detection AT ALL (except for the battery charing, but this is mecanical, not virtual).
Should you have ANY hints, I would love to hear from you :D
